200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training
Lead from the heart, radiate from the soul.

Why Train with Larissa?
This is not your average 200-hour yoga teacher training. This program is dedicated to nurturing knowledgeable, skilled, and safe yoga teachers who will foster an inclusive environment for students to thrive on their yoga journey. Rather than a fitness training, it offers a comprehensive curriculum that immerses students in the rich tradition of classical yoga while embracing contemporary research and applications.
Under the inspiring guidance of Yoga Teacher Trainer Larissa Herrington (E-RYT 500, YACEP, LMT), you will unlock the expertise to share the transformative power of yoga with others. With over 16 years of devoted practice, Larissa LOVES yoga! She has trained primarily with Lindsey McNab (formerly Lindsey Argo, E-RYT 500), who holds a Master's Degree in South Asian Religions and Sanskrit.
This training emphasizes functional asanas (yoga postures), textual study, philosophy, and the eight limbs of (Ashtanga) Yoga. Students can anticipate emerging from this training with the confidence to guide others on their yoga journey, teaching diverse styles such as Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, Restorative, and Gentle yoga, all while deepening their own spiritual practice.
Training with Heart, Wisdom, and Purpose

Meet Larissa!
Hello, Radiant Ones
I'm thrilled that you are considering Radiant Bodhi Yoga School!
I embarked on a transformative yoga journey in 2011 at the age of 16, immersing myself in hot yoga, vinyasa, and restorative practices throughout the Ozarks. Initially attracted by the physical challenge, I soon uncovered the profound impact yoga had on my mental health, spiritual growth, and self-perception.

In 2017, my life took a challenging turn as I struggled with debilitating chronic neck and back pain. This period marked the lowest point in my mental health, and I faced suicidal ideations and attempts. Unsure whether medical professionals could alleviate my pain, I turned to yoga for solace and deepened my practice. In 2019, I enrolled in a local 200-hour yoga teacher training course, motivated by a desire to learn how to guide not only myself but also others on the path to healing, embodiment, and joy. After completing training in 2020, I experienced a remarkable transformation—my chronic pain subsided, revealing an inner strength I had not fully realized. It became clear that yoga was not just a remedy for my pain; it empowered me to focus on what I could control—my breath, spirituality, mindfulness, and the art of detaching from outcomes.

Yoga relieved my chronic pain and allowed me to focus on things I could control...
my breath, spirituality, mindfulness, and detaching from outcomes.
My journey did not stop there. I went on to earn certifications in Yin Yoga Levels 1 and 2 and a 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training certificate, accumulating over 1,500 hours of teaching experience through in-person classes, workshops, private lessons, and specialized events. In 2022, I became a Licensed Massage Therapist, specializing in the healing art of Thai Yoga Massage.
With a focus in yoga philosophy and Sanskrit, I infuse my teaching with passion and insightful wisdom. Today, my approach is warm, inclusive, and empowering in every class. Each offering is meticulously crafted to foster balance, mobility, and breath awareness, inviting individuals to unlock their physical potential while harmonizing the mind, body, and spirit. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned practitioner, I hope to inspire everyone to engage fully, passionately affirming that yoga is not just a practice—it is an accessible journey for all.
